Let the serenity of nature lull you to sleep, be it tucked fireside at a cabin, snuggled in a lodge, or under a blanket of stars inside a luxury yurt or glamping tent. At daybreak, venture out into the crisp spring morning to explore the landscape. Go for an invigorating swim, ease into the day on a gentle hike, or just be still in the forest and allow your senses to connect to the season in your laid-back surroundings.

When you think about sleeping under the stars, camping is often the first thing to come to mind. And BC is, indeed, synonymous with camping. But this year, try something new.

Do you like sleeping in a tent, but waking up on the ground holds less appeal? Kick it up a notch with a glamping experience, complete with a comfy bed. Or if luxury feels inauthentic but your car has limited room for gear, booking a yurt may be the answer.

If protecting the natural world is a priority for you, try a stay at an eco resort. Or reserve a spot at a wilderness resort where forests brim with wildlife. Animal lovers can also find contentment at a guest ranch or a farm stay.

This year, find a new place to stay and wake up surrounded by nature.
